Born in Northern California, my parents quickly moved me away, making a brief stop in Florida before landing in Michigan. I grew up in a northern Michigan town, with a life built around athletics. Life was simple seeing as there wasn't a whole lot to do, sometimes it was playing a little basketball, other days it was driving around town looking for some way to get in trouble. Along the way, two of my closest friends and I picked up a camcorder and made some of the cheapest, [now] most embarrassing films of our lives, but it was fun none the less. As high school came to a close, another chapter opened at the University of Michigan. I had grown up loving the school, and had every intention of going there, getting a finance degree from the business school, and heading to Wall St. Funny how things don't always turn out how you plan it. I ended up trying out for the rowing team, and after four years, two summers of rowing with the national team, and nine new best friends for life, I felt like I had accomplished something I could say was all mine. While I did manage a degree in Financial Economics, my college experience looking back was much different than what I expected from the day I read "you've been accepted." The year after college, I chased an Olympic dream through Philadelphia, Michigan, and Indianapolis, before deciding to walk away and ended up in Nashville with one of those 9 best friends. I have begun working with my father in a lucrative market, with the hopes of financial stability for life, and have turned to a new dream of mine, something that had been on the backburner for 23 years; acting for film.
